Jeff and Elaine were such a fun couple to shoot and I really enjoyed getting to know them! Their love story was so sweet – taking them all over the world from places like China to Cincinnati to Chicago, and their wedding perfectly reflected their two cultures traveling together becoming one.

They had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Wandering Tree Estate outside of Chicago. The grounds provided plenty of great photography spots (with equally great lighting !!!) from the gorgeous lakeside gazebo that provided the perfect backdrop to their ceremony to the fun train sets that fit into their travel story.

While the day started out drizzly and grey – your typical autumn Chicago weather – the skies quickly turned blue and cleared up as the ceremony time drew closer. Whew! The weather ended up being absolutely gorgeous and a blast for all involved!
